Textures
Courtney has been very interested in textures for the last month or so. When I hold her while we are sitting on the couch, she reaches around to 'pet' the various toss pillows. She seems to enjoy feeling the various textures. This last week she discovered that her daddy has a beard. This is not a new development, but she has suddenly noticed and has taken a liking to it. Well it is either that or she is oh so subtly trying to tell her dad to shut his mouth...

Dressed in her Sunday best
My sister bought Courtney this adorable dress for Christmas. I was so excited for her to wear it. I decided she would make her debut in it at church. She hasn't been doing too well in trying to sit through a sermon, but this past Sunday she managed to make it through and we got to hear our friend Jenn speak at one of our church's satellite campuses. Jenn did a great job and Courtney seemed pretty happy to be there to cheer her on.
